Did your cracked iPad Mini screen result in a bent corner or partially damaged back plate like the image on the left below? Unlike other iPads, the iPad Mini design doesn't have an outer bezel. Because of this, when the iPad Mini is dropped, it can result in a damaged Back Plate corner as well. This requires our technicians to grind down the corner of the iPad Mini's back bezel so that the Glass Screen can be replaced and installed back on the device properly, like the image on the right below.
In the event that your back case has damaged corners, you acknowledge that the back case will need to be modified down in order for the replacement screen to seat and seal properly onto the unit!
If you have cracked glass or a non-functional touch sensor (this is the digitizer that is actually located under the glass), this is the service for you.
