I was devastated when I dropped my Kindle Fire on concrete coming out of class. I'd dropped it quite a few times before, but that concrete finally cracked half the screen. I thought about buying a $50 screen & fixing it myself, but I didn't quite trust myself w/ that level of troubleshooting. I didn't want to order a replacement Fire for $100 from Amazon because I'd have to start all over after 2 mos. of use. No local places that I knew of had the specific screen for it. So I decided to send it in to Mission:Repair. I was nervous about sending it so far away, so I called to scope out the technicians. The man I spoke w/ was EXTREMELY friendly, helpful, & informed about my device, so I felt much better. Although they couldn't get around to the Fire the 1st day, they actually e-mailed me & let me KNOW that. They even kept a mini-log on my account about its progress. They shipped it back in very thick foam & it looks new again!! Can't express how pleased I am...Mission:Repair = #thebest!
