A note of gratitude for the EXCELLENT workmanship & process that Mission Repair has provided & instituted w/regards to my repair service order #44588.
My iPhone 2G required immediate repair service & not knowing where to turn, I did what most of the world does google. I couldn't believe that living on the east coast (New York Tri-state area) that no reputable walk-in/mail-in repair service existed locally.
With the new iPhone announcement/deployment just months away I really didn't want to use my available upgrade for the existing iPhone 3GS platform even though everyone I talked to stated that that was the most economical & most likely route most folks would take, so it came down to:
Keep existing cracked/destroyed iPhone 2G w/its hopeless looking screen Go back to my back-up Palm Treo for six (6) months Or attempt a repair.
And that's where I begin, I came across Mission Repair service via an article about one of your competitors XXXXXX. (From Ryan: we will name the competitor XXXXXX â€“ we are not in the business of calling out the competiton!). XXXXXX was recently featured in a write-up. . . After reviewing the article & checking out their web-site & determining the service repair process along w/fees, etc., I was ready to contract w/them for the repair. But then I had the great forunte of stumbling across the TopTenReview article on iPhone Repair Service.
After reviewing the article & all of the web sites I was no longer sure that XXXXXX would be my best selection, eventually it was narrowed down between XXXXXX & Mission Repair. The ranking/rating between XXXXXX & Mission Repair were ever so close & they both provide valuable services like shipping, community, security & customer service.
But there were two words in the ratings that held up my decision, & I must've read them a hundred times & I kept coming back to the ranking/rating comparisons between Mission Repair & XXXXXX. What was it? Well read for yourself - "Mission Repair SHINES in the burgeoning sea of business specializing in iPhone & iPod repair service, vs XXXXXX is ANOTHER leader in the iPhone repair services industry."
So I waited till Monday morning w/questions & pricing in hand I decided to see for myself if the rankings/ratings & those two little words would differentiate between the two. I called XXXXXX first since their pricing was a tad cheaper + I found a discount coupon to use as well. While the young lady was knowledgeable she seemed like why was I bothering calling if I had all the information from the web site & had read the articles/ratings. They were like any ANOTHER leading company. Being from the east coast I just put it off as their way of I being ANOTHER early Monday morning customer call, so I next tried Mission Repair.
Well just as the TopTenReview article on iPhone Repair Service states Mission Repair was true to the word they "SHINE".
I was treated as a customer s/b, with an energetic feel for yes we want your business, yes we will do everything right & treat you as a valuable commodity. And on top of that we will meet/beat the competitions price, that attitude made Mission Repair a no brainier to select at least for me.
So got off the phone retrieved credit card & placed the order Monday, morning January 11 @10:19 AM a few minutes after hanging up w/Mission Repair not only for the repair service but also added a battery replacement (since iPhone is 2+ years), along w/their 3Way Mission Repair Kit delivery service.
At 11:25 AM first correspondence via email, acknowledgment of order recently placed & add'l information concerning shipment. At 11:30 AM an add'l email providing information on preparing phone for shipment (i.e., SIM Card, accessories removals, instructions concerning 3 Way Box Service Shipping).
Next day Tuesday, January 12 @2:01 PM FedEx box arrives, a swift review of contents & a faster placement of iPhone in its required space & the required Handheld Work Order, ensuring tape eclosure secures box & voila off to FedEx drop location. Less than an hour later 2:48 PM box in FedEx hands w/an estimated Wednesday, January 13 delivery ~3 PM to Mission Repair Headquarters Olathe, KS.
At 10:12 AM received email from Mission Repair confirming shipment received , type of repair requested plus add'l service requested & that technicians will soon begin repairing the unit. Again was this just a dream it was just so easy & smooth. Everything was going exactly as they stated it would.
Oh well now for the the hard part - waiting. Well the wait wasn't long.
I received an email @2:49 PM telling me that the repair service had been completed, the unit was tested & shipment on its way back to me w/a FedEx tracking link to track the order.
I logged on to their web site to check the order & sure enough it had a tracking# that depicted it was on its way back to me. The My Account on their web site is meticulous w/information concerning the order, tracking & repair complete w/employee initials as to who received/inventoried & who repaired/tested the items prior to return shipment.
So now for the next phase. When will it arrive?
Less than 24 hours later Thursday, January 14 @11:12 AM my iPhone arrives with the digitizer/LCD Screen repaired & looking just GR8. I can't begin to say how thrilled & smooth the entire episode unfolded except of course why I needed your service in the first place.
My first & only experience was just unbelievable, easy, & smooth as silk the best stress free 96 hours I have ever encountered. The whole process is just as the Mission Repair Promotional Video states on your web easy stress free!
Mission Repair has a spot in my iPhone Contact list, complete w/logo, & since I know that I will return as a REPEAT SATISFIED customer because w/have two add'l iPhones (i.e., one 2G & one 3G) in our Family Plan. In fact I have kept the Mission Repair shipping kit & have stored it in a safe place, I just hope that the service that I'll need will be for battery replacement & not for any crack screens.
But be assured that if it turns out to be the latter I know that we are in good hands that "OUT SHINES" the competition.

My experience with Mission:Repair was nothing short of perfect. I sent to them my daughters iphone which had a broken screen. I had attempted to fix this myself but actually did more damage than good. Technicians Matt Tobin and Phil Esau worked to get our iphone back to working order and did a great job. The repair turn around time was amazing as they did the repair within a day after it was received. They were accessible by phone and very customer driven and friendly. This is a company who offers great service and they stand behind their work. My expectations for good customer service is very high and Mission:Repair delivered.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! When I tried to close the canopy of the Blue Angel #7 Jet (a two-seat F/A-18 Hornet) and it just would not shut...I knew something was wrong. When I climbed up to see what was in the way, it turned out to be my 2007 MacBook Pro! Yikes! I love my computer and now it was damaged...badly, let's just say the canopy won!!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for your help with my iphone. I work for At&T and we give out your information to customers who need Apple repairs. I recently sent my 3G iphone in for LCD screen repair. I overnight shipped my phone on a Monday morning at 11 AM, you guys emailed me Tuesday at 8AM to let me know you had received it and would be repairing it soon. By 12pm on Tuesday, you had fixed it and sent it back to me. On Wednesday at 12pm I received my phone back looking brand new! I have never received such great customer service in a timely manner. Please accept my thanks for an excellent service experience. The only surprise I had was the call saying that your company could find me a used ribbon cable to replace the bad one. Total parts estimate was about $15. I was expecting a parts order of up to $250, or perhaps a whole new motherboard. I appreciate the quick turnaround and excellent updates/communications via email and phone. I was referred to you by word of mouth and I will, in turn, recommend your company to my friends and associates.
I am not sure if i contacted you regarding my service experience with Mission Repair.... I had Mission Repair replace my 15.4 LCD display for my macbook pro and install a new hdd and bottom case for me. The work you have done for me was by far THE BEST, at first i was skeptical to send it in to anyone other than mac and a local mac repair center in Michigan. I overnighted it to you and you did the same... I am so happy that i choose Mission repair to complete this service for me... The screen of my Iphone broke while going through security in New Orleans. When I got home I called Apple and AT&T and they both told me the same thing, cracked screens are not covered under warranty and they do not offer insurance. I could however pay $500 for a new one and sign a new 2 year agreementâ€¦ Obviously I was upset so I considered canceling, however the Iphone is too fantastic so I decided to try to fix it myself. I sent out for a replacement screen. When it arrived I took mine apart and replaced the screen (very difficult, I do not recommend). After I put the phone back together I realized that the LCD was actually cracked as well and the picture was now distorted. Frustrated and not feeling like repairing the LCD on my own I Googled screen repair and found your company. I am lost without my phone, so I was very happy when I found out how the service worked. I paid for the 3 way shipping on Wednesday. I received the Fedex package on Thursday at my office. I then packed up the Iphone and shipped it out on Thursday. I got a call Friday morning from one of your technicians (very friendly and helpful, also working on Good Friday). He said the phone was fixed and said he could ship it back to me and I would get it on Sat. The cost for the Sat shipping was an extra $16 but well worth it to get my phone before Monday. So now my phone is fixed and I am happy. I have recommended your company to all of my friends with Iphones. Thank you again for your great service.
I don't usually write or send e-mails, but in this case I felt I had to. I just want you and everyone who reads your customer testimonials on the website to know your company is a breath of fresh air! My teenage daughter dropped her iPhone (which she had purchased with her own money only 4 months prior), and shattered the glass cover. Needless to say, she was devastated. I called Apple, thinking I'd be able to ship it out for repair, but they told me they could not do anything except swap it out for a new one (at the normal price of $299)! I couldn't believe that it could not be fixed, so I went searching the net and found your company. I, as I think many others, was a bit skeptical and nervous about sending out my Apple equipment to a company I had never heard of half way across the country. However, after reviewing your customer testimonials and your BBB rating (as well as your very reasonable repair price), I decided to go for it. I sent the iphone out on Monday, and it was back good as new by noon on Friday! My daughter and I were both thrilled! The tech even personally signed the repair card. It's not very often these days that you get this kind of exceptional customer service! Great job!!!

I found Mission Repair online & called you guys immediately. I sent my phone out @ 3pm next day air via Fed-ex after talking to Ian. You received my phone the following day (Tuesday) & when I called & spoke to Mark to explain that I was leaving for Italy the following day, he assured me he would get it fixed & back in my hands before then. Can i just say.....wow! your service has been exceptional. I live in key west so overnight usually turns into at least a extra day or two. I sent my phone in on tues, recieved an email that it was there early wednesday and then another email a few hours later that it was on the way back. it arrived thurs morning. It looks as good as new. I was able to talk to someone when i called and had a live chat with ian when i was checking to see if a signature was required. great job Mission Repair!! Also i was going to tell you that if people are worried about not having a phone while theres is getting repaired, they can simply spend $20 on a at&t go phone load the sim into it and it works same as if they were still using reg. phone (as in no extra charges for min, texting etc) I thought you might like to put this on your sight so people know they dont have to be without a phone at all. its a cheap little phone but well worth the 20 dollars. again thank you for the prompt effecient service!!!

Thank you!!! I was so embarrassed to be walking around with a cracked screen on my 3G iPhone...complete strangers would even comment on it. But I sent my phone in, and received it back just like new. I was actually really skeptical and thought that I would get back something that either looked cheesy or unprofessional and I would have to buy a new phone but that was farthest from the truth.
Everything went smooth, shipment to, from and the end result. It was totally worth the money spent, especially considering that Apple wants to charge $250 and keep the phone for a week.

Here's something for your customer testimonials page: I walk into an Apple Store and ask about fixing my 4th Gen iPod screen which got wet and doesn't work. They tell me it's more cost effective to buy a new one (to keep the shareholders happy of course). Mission Repair fixed it for $25 plus shipping. Great value, great service. I highly recommend MR.

Can i just say WOW!!! I was at first skeptical about anyone else besides Apple touching my Macbook. My husband dropped it and cracked the lcd, and we sent it in to Mission Repair only after seeing praise online and from word of mouth. We will never doubt again. We sent it one day usps on last Tuesday and they got it at 11:50am on Wednesday and before 4pm it was shipping out back to me. It came back better looking than before. We recently sent our MacBook 13" lap top in to you to repair its broken screen. It arrived back promptly, safely packed, and with a beautiful new screen - all at a very reasonable price. We were concerned, however, when we discovered that the battery, which had been working prior to sending it for repairs, was no longer working.
When my husband called to inquire about this matter, your staff talked him through some preliminary diagnostics. Then he was instructed to send you the battery directly, so it could be evaluated, and replaced if necessary. After a few days, he still "hadn't gotten around" to removing the old battery and sending it in, (which he intended to do, as he likes to use the computer when away from a wall outlet.) Yesterday, however, we were delighted to receive - unsolicited - a brand new battery in the mail, direct from Mission Repair, at no cost to us.

Ok, this is unbelievable! You guys did exactly what you said you'd do, and that's rare for an online business these days. I have my ipod video back with a working screen, and I am very impressed. Great job, I'll tell the guys at Best Buy that their referral was a great one.
If you guys have an iPod, or Mac ... these guys fix it well. I would highly recommend you give them a call if you have any problems. I took my ipod in, which i was told at the Apple Store would cost me a new iPod, and these guys repaired it for a half of the price.
I was referred by the Apple Store in New York, and you guys were amazing. You installed a new head phone jack into my iPod video the same day you received it and I was only without my iPod for 3 days. It arrived from Fedex good as new. I feel whole again! Thank you!
When I called to request the repair, the person who received my call was more than pleasant and very professional. They talked me through my shipping options and helped me decide which method would be best for me. I received the shipping box for my laptop within days. I sent the laptop in and it was quickly repaired and returned to me!! I didn't actually realize that "replacing the screen" meant only the screen and not the cracked top of the laptop, so I was sadly disappointed when I opened up the box and found what I thought was an still-defective laptop!!! When I called with my issue, again, the people on the other line were jovial and extremely helpful and remorseful when they thought that they'd made a mistake. (The mistake was mine, actually. The screen had been fixed. To replace the entire top is actually around $6-700!!!)
